Got gum stuck in my beard and really don’t want to cut any locks. Tried peanut butter but it only worked partially. Any other methods that have worked for you guys?
YO, DUDE!! TRY ICE CUBES!!! seriously… chill that gum rock solid and it’ll crumble right off your beard like it’s NOTHING!!! If that’s too messy, olive oil works wonders too—just massage it in, let it sit, and the gum slides out like BUTTER (but better than peanut butter lol). ALSO!!! FYI, avoid heat—it’ll just make the gum stickier and harder to remove. HOPE THAT HELPS!!!
Since ice and olive oil have been covered, another effective method is using coconut oil—it’s thicker than olive oil and has a stronger grip on breaking down gum’s stickiness. Apply a generous amount, let it sit for 10 minutes, then gently comb through with a fine-toothed comb. If you’re dealing with a stubborn patch, try a mixture of baking soda and conditioner; the abrasiveness helps lift the gum without damaging your beard. Always rinse thoroughly afterward to prevent residue buildup!
